What happens when you create a product

After you create a product or service on Creala, it enters a review status. During this time:

  • Your product page exists, but the buy button is not visible to customers

  • The Creala team reviews your listing to make sure it meets platform guidelines

  • Some products may require additional authorization from our payment provider (Stripe)

This is a one-time process for each product. Once approved, your product goes live immediately.

How will I know the result?

You will receive an email notification once the review is complete:

  • If approved: You will get a confirmation email and your product will go live right away. The buy button becomes visible to customers.

  • If rejected: You will get an email explaining the reason. Don't worry β€” you can create a new product anytime and resubmit. Feel free to adjust your listing based on the feedback and try again.

How long does the review take?

Scenario

Typical timeline

Standard products (digital goods, services)

A few hours to 1 business day

Products requiring provider authorization

2-3 business days

Products submitted on weekends or holidays

Reviewed on the next business day

Note: Review times may vary during high-volume periods.

How to check your product status

  1. Go to your Creala Dashboard

  2. Navigate to Products

  3. Look for the status indicator next to your product name

  4. Products in review show a Pending or In Review label

What if my product has been in review for too long?

If your product has been pending for more than 2 business days:

  1. Check that all required fields are complete (title, description, price, images)

  2. Make sure your product type is supported on the platform

  3. Contact our team through the chat widget in your dashboard. We will check the status for you.

Common reasons for extended reviews

  • Missing product details: Incomplete descriptions or missing images

  • Provider authorization required: Certain product categories need extra verification from Stripe

  • Compliance checks: Products with specific regulatory requirements take longer

  • Weekend or holiday submissions: Reviews only happen during business hours
